About us

The JRC is providing technical support to DEVCO and ELARG for the implementation (programming, preparation, contracting, monitoring and evaluation) of contracts of the Instrument for Nuclear Safety Cooperation (INSC) and the Instrument for Pre-Accession Assistance (IPA) which provide assistance for improving nuclear safety outside the EU. As part of this support, the JRC is engaged in the development and administration of the information system TIPINS.

EuropeAid Safety Training

"Training and Tutoring for trainees of the Nuclear Regulatory Authorities and their Technical Support Organisations for developing or strengthening their regulatory and technical capabilities" is the title of the contract that continues the cooperation among the European Commission and partner countries of the Instrument for Nuclear Safety Cooperation (INSC). The main purpose of this project is the provision of training and tutoring of the employees (trainees) of Nuclear Regulatory Authorities and their Technical Support Organisations (TSOs) in view of strengthening their capabilities.
