Description
Objective
The original SG control valves had to be replaced by modern Western valves. CIS manufactured valves of the required quality were not available. Therefore a joint venture was founded by Tchechov Works and Siemens.
Result
The valves have been supplied and installed on the NPP.
Some system-related operating difficulties occurred during commissioning and operation which have been solved.
