Objective
The project’s objective covered research, design, supply and commissioning of:

• A computer network comprising 100 workstations and operating in client server mode;
• Maintenance software capable of managing maintenance and plant safety operations, in accordance with existing EDF regulations.

Result
The computer network equipment has been installed. The maintenance management system software, modified version of EdF-GDMI developed GIE software, has been implemented on it and integrated into BN 600 NPP organization. The system is operational at BN 600 NPP, all departments are involved and the project partner appears committed in its use. However, operation is yet limited to the first module, called Work Request Procedure.
The second module, Work Order Procedure, was at that time planned to become operational gradually, starting in 1998.
