Objective

The objective of the project is to outfit the BN 600 NPP with selective and reliable detectors of hydrogen gas in the argon blanket of the secondary circuit’s expansion tanks for timely prevention of water-sodium reactions.
The project consists in procurement and adaptation of the above mentioned detectors, their commissioning and personnel training concerning calibration and proper maintenance.
Result
The equipment supplied consists of:

• 3 complete analyser systems each including:

o The analyser system box;
o The electronic unit;
o The sensor;
o The local panel to be installed near the electronic unit;
o The connecting cables between the electronic unit, the sensor and the local panel;
o The connectors to connect gas analyser system to the existing piping (gas input/output): stainless steel pipes, nuts, seals and nipples to be welded to the existing pipe (see layout Appendix 2).

• 3 remote device sets (one to each gas analyser) to be installed in the control room made up by:

o The remote control panel;
o The graphic colour recorder.

• 3 cable sets (one to each gas analyser):

o The cables from the analyser system box to the terminal block ( cables "A", see Appendix 1);
o The cables from the remote control panel and the recorder to the terminal block (cables "B", see Appendix 1). Length of cable "A" and "B": 5 m. On one side these cables shall have plug-in connectors and on the other screw terminals to be connected to the existing terminal blocks.

• 1 portative remote control panel enabling the ranges to be manually switched on the spot, after being connected to the gas analyser instead of the remote control panel installed in the control room.
• Spare parts and consumables.
• Maintenance and periodical test equipment.
