Description

Objective

The aim of the project was to control the tritium release and migration in the environment during normal operation and in case of accidents.

The main components of the project are the drawing up of technical specifications and the procurement of the necessary instrumentation as follows:

  • 4 tritium sampling devices, one for reactor building chimney and one for each chimney of the 3 steam generators;
  • 2 liquid scintillation analysers, one standard analyser for the one-site laboratory to measure tritium in liquid wastes, and one low background level analyser for the environmental laboratory outside the site.

Result

The objective of the project as defined above has been achieved.
It has been divided into 2 Lots.
