Project Aims

The overall objective of the project was to contribute to increasing of nuclear safety in the country. The specific objective of the project was to create a central system of radiological monitoring at the site of Swierk Nuclear Centre.

Project Results
The project is contributing to establishment/ refurbishment of a system of radiological monitoring of the entire Swierk Nuclear Centre, based on the technical design developed in 2001 by Institute of Atomic Energy (IAE). This is achieved through the delivery of equipment and in particular hardware, software, contamination measuring instruments, probes and other equipment for the Central Monitoring System and the Radiation Calibration Laboratory.
The budget for this project was: 300 000 euro.
