Creation of facility for release of materials from regulatory control at ChNPP U4.01/11E
Description
Following the 1986 accident in its Unit 4, thousands of tonnes of metal (steel and other metals) still need to be decontaminated at Chernobyl NPP (ChNPP).
The contract foresees the supply, equipment design, manufacture, delivery, including any documentation required, certification, acceptance tests, the installation and licensing, commissioning (where specified in the Technical Specifications), after-sales services, maintenance support, and training (where specified in the Technical Specifications) of the equipment for a facility to allow the release of the contaminated scrap metal - and other materials - from regulatory control (including a radiation situation monitoring system at the facility’s building).
