Background

A total of € 47 million of TACIS budget was allocated to the establishment of an Industrial Complex for Solid Radioactive Waste Management (ICSRM), which is an essential part of the Chernobyl decommissioning programme. A commemorative plaque with the EC Logo, mounted at the entrance to the SWPF (Solid Waste Processing Facility) building, was considered to be an appropriate visible expression of the European Community’s contribution to the ChNPP Decommissioning Programme Implementation.

Objectives

The subject of the contract was the supply, manufacture, delivery, installation and commissioning of the commemorative plaque with the EC Logo for the SWPF Building of the ICSRM.
Project Results

The plaque was manufactured, delivered and installed in accordance to the Technical Specifications.
