Project summary will be published after the completion of the project.
The purposes of the project are:
•    to develop regulations for uranium mines and milling operations that are in accord with best international standards and practice
•    to determine the human resources and knowledge/skills required to effectively implement the regulatory framework and which are commensurate with the anticipated level of mining and milling operations
•    to train the requisite number of people in the key aspects of the regulatory process
•    to support the regulatory body in carrying out an assessment of the safety of an application to construct and operate a uranium mine and/or associated milling operations.
