Background
Steam flow meters originally installed on the main steam lines are not reliable, and their failure led to several reactor scrams in the past, because steam flow measurement is used for controlling steam generator water level.
Objectives
Supply and installation of steam flow measurement devices for the 4 units at Balakovo NPP, together with all necessary accessories : piping, electrical devices and isolation valves.
Project Results – Achievements
The project has been implemented according to the schedule, without major problems. The total contract value is 198,393 €.
