The objective of the project is to perform modifications improving the confinement tightness that will help ANPP in addressing the below safety issues:

  • Address stress-test report issue on Severe Accident Management - Ensure improvement of containment tightness
  • Address IAEA TECDOC 640 III Category issues - CONFINEMENT TIGHTNESS
  • Improve Spent Fuel Pool tightness
