Improvement of the Primary Circuit Venting System
Description
Objective
The Reactor Vessel Head Venting System should ensure removal of the steam and non-condensable gases from the reactor pressure vessel head especially during the accidental conditions and thus ensure circulation of the coolant in the reactor coolant system. This issue has been indetified as a safety issue in the IAEA issue books.
Results
The equipment fabrication has been made by INKOR compant. It was completed and Sogin and Beneficiary/End User representatives participated in the factory acceptance tests in August 2004.On May 2005 an Addendum was signed for the postponement of the delivery date of the equipment. The equipment has been finally delivered at the end of November 2005. Custom clearance completed in December 2005.
