Project Aims
- Establishment of modern RM&D network systems for controlling the works during the IRT R&M, waste management and exploitation of the new research reactor.
- Procurement of licensed equipment (spectrometers, dosimeters, monitors, etc.) for the Nuclear Scientific and Experimental Center (NSEC) site,and personnel radiation monitoring (PRM); for control of the IRT-Sofia dismantled parts and waste issues radioactivity levels, and for the environment radiation monitoring at the NSEC site network
Project Results
- Construction of a comprehensive system for RM&D control of all the works during the IRT-Sofia research reactor R&M;
- Detailed technical design and construction of a RM&D control network system for NSEC site;
- Procurement and testing of the RM&D systems and training of the Personal in their use;
The budget for this project was: 1 370 000 euro.
