Background
A tender evaluation committee was organised to evaluate the tenders for the project U2.04/96. The Evaluation Committee consisted of:
• a Chairman (DG IA), the Task Manager (DG IA) and a secretary (Tacis PU),
• evaluator(s) from the Commission and external evaluator(s),
• a representative from the beneficiary institution.
As the Beneficiary representative was not sufficiently able to speak or understand English language, an interpreter was necessary for the evaluation committee
Project Aims
The Contractor undertook to provide to the Commission an interpreter for the provision of interpretation services on the date of the evaluation.
Project Results
The Contractor provided an interpreter with the highest qualifications for the provision of interpretation services on the date of the evaluation, and according to the budget established in the Terms of Reference of the contract.
