Description
Objective
A general assessment was to be performed on how to improve the medium voltage supply at Kalinin. The assessment should cover medium voltage distribution associated with automation, supervision and cabling.
Deliverables of the assessment:
Characteristics and nature of the power supply to be upgraded according to NPP requirements and technical aspects;
Specification of a possible next stage of upgrading, including budget figures;
Supply and installation of equipment.
Result
The objectives as defined were achieved. The equipment has been installed at Kalinin NPP in the outage June-September 1999.
