Preparation of an Industrial Fatigue Diagnostic System. (Continuation of 3.4/91).

Description

Objective
The objective was to deliver the following items:

  • Hardware, Software and Test Environment for fatigue monitoring system:
    • Evaluation computer;
    • CPU Pentium 3 or 4, minimum 800 MHz clock rate;
    • 256 Mbytes RAM;
    • 10 Gbytes hard disc;
    • MOD, Floppy disc and CD or DVD;
    • Communication interface ISDN and analogue modem LAN;
    • Serial RS232 lines: 1 free RS232 serial interface for receiving technological data from the plant computer.
  • Peripheral devices:
    • Printer (B/W, minimum 9 p/min, A4) Keyboard;
    • Mouse;
    • High resolution colour display (better then 1024*768).
  • Operating System:
    • Microsoft Windows Operating System.
  • Communication SW:
    • PC Anywhere or similar.
  • Application SW:
    • Temperature measurement and evaluating software.
  • DAU:
    • 18 channel data acquisition unit with thermocouple inputs with integrated temperature compensation.
  • 20 Thermo-couples:
    • Material of cover: 1.4541;
    • Thermocouple: NCr-Ni (Type K);
    • Cover diameter: 1 mm;
    • Cover wall thickness: 0.16 mm;
    • Diameter of NiCr-Ni wire: 0.18 - 0.20 mm;
    • Resistance:approximately 37.5 W/m;
    • Measuring tip: welded with cover;
    • Thermal stress: acc. to DIN IEC 584 part 1;
    • Max. deviation: acc. to DIN IEC 584 part 2;
    • Range of use: Type K;
    • 1.5 or 0.004 [t];
    • -40C to 2000C.
  • Point welding device:
    • Point welding device for welding of the sensitive thermocouples at the measurement section;
    • 230V AC 10%;
    • 50Hz 1%.

Result
The equipment according to the objective has been delivered in 2003 and has been installed during the outage of Kalinin NPP in summer 2004.
