Project Aims
The objective of the project was to perform a probabilistic safety assessment level 1 in order to evaluate the impact on safety of new modifications in Bohunice 1 and 2.
The studies focused on the following reactor conditions:

  • full power operations;
  • long term shut down (heat removal);
  • situations where boron dilution could lead to reactivity accidents.
