The project summary will be published after the completion of the project.
The specific objectives of the project are:
•  to assess the feasibility of establishing (or enhancing existing) regional cooperation on emergency preparedness and response within six ASEAN countries
• to identify any major impediments or limitations to achieving (or enhancing) regional cooperation and, should they exist, how they may be overcome
• to assess the potential for extending, in due course, regional cooperation to ASEAN as a whole and to Australia and Asia more generally.
