The project summary will be published after the completion of the project.
The project purpose is to reach a situation in which:
- Angra-2 has identified the actual status of equipment used for safety I&C including the availability of spare parts at the plant and from the manufacturers.
- Angra-2 has identified a design concept for the overall I&C architecture and digital I&C equipment that meets existing safety requirements, including a feasible roadmap for any software qualification (if applicable), and is available in the market place.
- Angra-2 has identified an optimum scope and approach to be adopted in respect of the replacement and upgrade of the existing I&C systems.
