Project Aims

In Service Inspection of primary circuit components

To complete ongoing improvement of the In Service Inspection (ISI) programme for VVER 440/213 type primary circuit components by providing a level of effectiveness and quality of ISI for the identified two new inspection areas of Dukovany, Bohunuice and Paks, equivalent to the level of European practice.

Risk based maintenance

To improve the level of nuclear safety of the NPPs at Dukovany, Bohunuice and Paks by introducing a Reliability Based Maintenance approach, including a Risk Based maintenance evaluation for safety systems and for safety related systems.

NPP crisis centre organization and equipment

To improve the efficiency (organisation, tools, and equipment) of the plant Emergency Response Centres of the NPPs Dukovany, Bohunuice and Paks to a level equivalent to the level of European practice.
