Project Aims

The main objective of the project was to provide a forum for discussions identification of Kozloduy NPP training needs and transfer of relevant knowledge, and in particular the following subjects had to be addressed:

• Simulator specification;
• Training Program;
• Training Center;
• Training of instructors;
• Emergency planning.

Project Results

• Simulator specification: work sessions and visits were organized: The purpose of the work session was to discuss with K NPP the specificities the specific needs of the KHTC staff. A one week visit was organized in Lovissa NPP, where extensive presentations on the Loviisa simulator were given and a trip to athe full scope simulator was organized;
• Training Program: work sessions and visits were organized: A one day work session was organized in Karlsruhe during which the KHTC training program was discussed. A one week visit was organized in Loviisa, where extensive presentations on the LOVIISA training programme and training facilities were given;
• Training Center: work sessions and visits were organized: A three days work session was organized in KNPP including a visit of KHTC. During the work session the consortium submitted a proposal for a new basic structure of KHTC;
• Training of instructors: work sessions and seminar were organized: A four day Instructors training seminar was organized in KNPP that address the problems realted to development of training instructions;
• Emergency planning: work sessions and workshop were organized: A three day Workshop on operator's training issues relevant to emeregency planning was organized in at KNPP.
