Project Aims

• Continuation of a direct assistance to the operator and the design Institute Energoproject, through an on-site team and experts from EU, to bring Western experience and know-how;
• In particular the assistance includes preparation of terms reference, support in the licensing process, advice for improvements of the plant;
• Continuation of a twinning programme with an EU nuclear power plant. It consists in exchanges on training and know-how, enabling Bulgarian experts to see how such a plant is maintained and operated and for EU experts to bring their expertise to Kozloduy for the identification of safety related projects and practices.
