South Ukraine Diagnostic Equipment

Description

Background

The project started based on the Technical Specifications prepared under the 94 Tacis Programme.
The contract dossier with the supplier awarded in the tender launched in 1995 was cancelled after the cancellation of the open tender due to non-compliance with tender procedures.

The European Commission approved the Procurement Agent to perform an informal consultation for the equipment purchase in April 1998.
For this informal consultation only one bid was received, from INKLA.

Dated February 10th 2000, the supply contract with IKLA was signed by the European Commission and a few days later by the rest of the parties involved.
An on-site Kick-off Meeting took place the 5th of June 2000 with the participation of SU NPP, INKLA and DTN.
