Description

Beneficiary Organisation Details
Regulatory Authorities and their Technical Support Organizations in all PHARE countries.
Project Aims
The objective of the Project is to allow the Commission services to seek, on behalf and to the advantage of beneficiary countries, technical and policy advice related to the project management cycle, with particular regard to regulatory assistance and dissemination of results from projects financed under PHARE with regard to nuclear issues.
Project Results
The project comprises means to support several different categories of activity:

  • Expert meetings in support of programming, as well as in support of the candidate countries evaluation of assistance received;
  • Self-assessment and demonstration of performance of candidate countries in the phase of transition to EU Members States’ status with regard to nuclear safety and other nuclear issues;
  • Dissemination activities that to the benefit of all candidate countries would provide public, including specialist, access to results from PHARE supported projects.
