Project Aims

The project was designed to provide assistence to the Regulatory Authority in safety realted seismic evaluation of Cernavoda NPP. The project aimed at transfer of relevant knowledge as well as enhancement of the CNCAN assessment capabilities in the field.

Project Results

Under the project several seismic safety assessment studies performed for Cernavoda NPP have been considered and evaluated. The CNCAN was assisted in establishment of procedures and practices for addressing seismic hazards evalauation and setting relevant regulatory requirements.

The alocated budget for this project was: 280 000 euro.
