Project Aims
- To assist VATESI in licensing activities related to the decommissioning of the Ignalina Nuclear Power Plant,
- To provide transfer of state-of-the-art knowledge on assessment of decommissioning safety issues to the Lithuanian TSOs and help build up their competence in this field
- To assist in development of regulations or guidance.
Project Results
· Within the project, the Lithuanian TSOs has provided direct review support to VATESI for selected review cases.
· The enhanced capability was obtained through the transfer of experience from TSOs in Western European countries, specifically trough the short term training courses and on-the-job training during the reviews.
The budget of this project was: 1000000 euro.
