Description

Summary
The contract between NEK and EDF is an extension of the previous ones between the Energy Committee of Bulgaria and EDF.
 
Its objective is to improve the operation safety level of the KOZLODUY NPP power units.
This program of activities includes actions of assistance to operation, maintenance, power unit improvement and engineering, actions related to know-how transfer and behaviour (management, training etc...).
 
The experts spent 195 days in Kozloduy to check points of the previous contract on-going activities or to launch new ones.The following was performed:
 
A Seminar on Management intended for senior staff.

  •  
  • support to Kozloduy Training Centre experts for the definition of needs in premises and logistics to set up the training work site required for training of a larger number of the maintenance staff,

  • support in designing and writing the AtomEnergoRemont Quality Assurance Manual,

  • setting up of technical visits of Bulgarian experts to France,

  • information transfer, mainly for the optimisation of maintenance and equipment components lifetime,

  • project of mode management for refuelling outages,

  • setting up of an OSART mission,

  • informing KNPP management staff of the economical management applied at EDF,

  • assistance in defining improvements of the CORYS 1000 MW multifunction simulator,

  • support in defining spare parts management and setting up of a site action

  • plan,

  • setting up of a PRE- OSART mission

  • transfer of information concerning the computer means (hardware and software) which exist in the Nuclear Power Plants of EDF and more particularly the use of application programmes which allow to improve the safety of operation of the units.
