The work of EDF encompassed one main field of activity: an on-request engineering support according to the needs expressed by Kozloduy NPP (KNPP).
The following activities took place within the project:
The technical visit of three Bulgarian experts in France for three weeks enabled to instruct them on the methodology used by EDF for managing modifications or equipment replacements from initial request up to equipment operation with all the consequent interactions with different EDF services.

• The assistance in Kozloduy from 2 EDF on-request-experts enabled to begin writing up the specifications relative to site video surveillance (essential for Kozloduy NPP for consulting their suppliers). During this mission there was an important exchange of information it was emphasised mainly on :

· standards, regulations, laws,
· organisation
· EDF feedback experience in such type of projects,
· different type of equipment and their characteristics,
· technical and tactical aspects,
· the organisation and the relations between the site and the Authorities(Bulgarian Police),

• On request from PMU and KNPP, an assessment of Know-How transfer activities concerning Quality Assurance (QA) was carried out, as well as a brief audit of the current QA implementation on KNPP. A specific report was subsequently issued and includes proposals for establishing a whole Site Action Plan for continuation of implementing QA on KNPP , and then for its launching and following fulfilment.
   

Support in setting up the pre-OSART mission. Concerning the overall management of the processing of the remarks from the pre-OSART mission and the future ones from the OSART mission it was suggested to KNPP to establish an Action Plan with a strict supervision of the treatment of the deviations. This approach would justify that at the end all the deviations are being taken into consideration.
