Project Aims

• The objective of these projects was to establish on regional basis and implement the training on off-site emergency preparedness in all TACIS and PHARE countries;
• Activities included:
  • Organisation of the actual training courses for six target groups of personnel involved in various activities within the off-site emergency preparedness. The courses will be managed according to twenty groups of subjects;
  • Establishment of the training infrastructure within three regional centers, namely: Scientific Centre IPPE, Obninsk, Russia. Civil Security Training Center in Vilnius, Lithuania . VUJE Training Center in Trnava, Slovakia;
  • Implementation of the training courses for all six target groups with participation of individuals from several countries.
