Project Aims

  • The project covered assistance provided to the Polish National Atomic Energy Agency for areas of legal framework, organization of the regulatory body, licensing process, inspection, assessment and enforcement, emergency preparedness, equipment needs and purchase of equipment.
  • The scope of the project included drafting of a national plan for responding to radiological emergencies and written procedures covering responsibilities, organization and working arrangements for all parties involved.
  • The implementation of the projectwas co-ordinated within the bilateral agreement between Poland and Denmark.
