This project is the continuation of the project UK/TS/01 A (see the relevant PRS) dedicated to safety assessment of the NPPs at the Rovno site.
In Co-operation with the Belarus authorities, especially PROMATOMNADZOR, a team of Western European experts realized an Exploratory Mission in the field of Belarus radiation protection and nuclear safety in October, 7-11, 1996, in Minsk.
Project BE/RA/02 is a follow-up of project BE/RA/01 with almost the same objectives. The assistance in the field of emergency preparedness including planning and training was included as new objective. This project has 6 technical tasks.
