Objectives
A Consortium of Western Regulators (CWR) gave assistance to the nuclear safety regulatory authority PROMATOMNADZOR in the field of nuclear safety and radiation protection based on the results of an Exploratory Mission
The Project Description per task:
Project BE/RA/02 is a follow-up of project BE/RA/01 with almost the same objectives. The assistance in the field of emergency preparedness including planning and training was included as new objective. This project has 6 technical tasks.
Objectives
This project was the follow-up of projects BE/RA/01 and BE/RA/02.
EU regulatory experts supported the Ministry for Emergency Situations (MES), including the
Department on Nuclear and Radiation Safety (Gosatomnadzor). MES also included the following
subordinated institutes and teams, involved in this project:

The purpose of this contract is as follows:
• To give regulatory support to Gosatomnadzor in the regulatory activities related to the submission of a license application for the planned NPP,
FULL title of the Project:
"Support and assistance to strengthen the capabilities of the Belarusian Nuclear Regulatory Authority MES/Gosatomnadzor in the field of licensing and supervision of construction of the Belarusian NPP."
The Tacis project BE/RA/04 represents the fourth phase of the transfer of European regulatory methodology and practices to the nuclear safety authorities of Belarus, especially to the Ministry for Emergency Situations (MES), including the Depart¬ment for Nuclear and Radiation Safety (Gosatomnadzo
