Under its research programmes, the European Commission has supported the development of the comprehensive RODOS (Real time Online Decision Support) system for the off-site management of nuclear emergencies.
The objectives that will need to be achieved in further elaborating a national policy and strategy in cooperation with the relevant Chinese authorities and agencies are the following:
