The purpose of this contract is as follows:
• To give regulatory support to Gosatomnadzor in the regulatory activities related to the submission of a license application for the planned NPP,
EU regulatory experts supported the Ministry for Emergency Situations (MES), including the
Department on Nuclear and Radiation Safety (Gosatomnadzor). MES also included the following
subordinated institutes and teams, involved in this project:
This project was the follow-up of projects BE/RA/01 and BE/RA/02.
In Co-operation with the Belarus authorities, especially PROMATOMNADZOR, a team of Western European experts realized an Exploratory Mission in the field of Belarus radiation protection and nuclear safety in October, 7-11, 1996, in Minsk.
