Objectives
This project consisted of the supply of the Lot 2 and Lot 3 of equipment specified in the project B3.01/04 (BE/RA/03), namely personal protection equipment and laboratory equipment respectively.
This project was the follow-up of projects BE/RA/01 and BE/RA/02.
Project BE/RA/02 is a follow-up of project BE/RA/01 with almost the same objectives. The assistance in the field of emergency preparedness including planning and training was included as new objective. This project has 6 technical tasks.

A Consortium of Western Regulators (CWR) gave assistance to the nuclear safety regulatory authority PROMATOMNADZOR in the field of nuclear safety and radiation protection based on the results of an Exploratory Mission
The Project Description per task:
In Co-operation with the Belarus authorities, especially PROMATOMNADZOR, a team of Western European experts realized an Exploratory Mission in the field of Belarus radiation protection and nuclear safety in October, 7-11, 1996, in Minsk.
