Project summary will be published after the completion of the project.
The purposes of the project are:
• to develop regulations for uranium mines and milling operations that are in accord with best international standards and practice
The aim of the project is to provide the Western Balkan countries (Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Kosovo, Montenegro, North Macedonia and Serbia) with operational, ‘state of the art’, tools to support them in making arrangements for, and managing (in a more timely, reliable and coherent manner)
The objective of the project is to strengthen the capabilities of Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH) in the fields of radioactive waste management by supporting the licensing process of radioactive waste storage facilities, providing regulatory training and capacity building in radioactive waste manage
1.OBJECTIVES.
Two main groups of radioactive waste (RAW) exist in Georgia: disused sealed radioactive sources (DSRS) and the radioactive waste generated during the decommissioning of the nuclear research reactor IRT-M. All the reactor fuel has been removed and sent out of Georgia.
1. Objectives
The overall objective of the project was to contribute to improvement of radioactive waste (radwaste) management in Georgia.
