Objective
The aim of the project is the refurbishment of the present Process Monitoring System (PMS) with full consideration of the possibility to operate with PMS functions in the present as well as in the new system.

At the beginning of 1990 VNIIAES has purchased from Siemens diagnostic systems like Acoustic Leakage-Detection, Loose Part Detection (Type SUES, KUES, ALUES) on a large scale.

Procurement of Spare Parts (app. 100 different items) for different valves for Unit 5.
The original valves, 48 valves in total, for which spare parts are necessary (Gate valves, Globe valves, Check valves) were supplied in 1976 by GEC Alsthom-VELAN.
