Project Description

The purposes of the project are:
• to develop regulations for uranium mines and milling operations that are in accord with best international standards and practice
The main purpose of this project is the provision of training and tutoring of the employees (experts) of regulators to strengthening the the capabilities of the beneficiary nuclear safety regulatory authorities in the area of nuclear safety.
The short-term purposes, which aim to ensure a more effective coordination among the countries in the region and with international partners, and that constitute the purpose of these ToR are the following:
Background ANRA and NRSC developed emergency procedures to be used in case of nuclear and radiation emergencies for assessing the technological conditions and radiation situation, as well as to provide prognosis on the progression of the emergency.
