1) Background
This project "Transfer of Western European Regulatory Methodology and practices to the nuclear safety authorities of Ukraine" was a follow up of a previous project which was implemented through two successive contracts.

The main objective of this project was to consolidate the achievements of the preceding projects (UK/RA/01,02,03) and to develop the assistance to SNRCU in the following fields:

This project consisted in the supply of computer and office equipment to the SNRCU, namely: 3 servers, 1 switch for servers, 40 personal computers (PC), 40 software licences for PC, 10 personal printers, 5 network printers, 1 portable multimedia projector, 1 portable screen and 1 portable board.
UK/TS/28 is a 2+2 project in which EU Technical Support Organisations support the Ukrainian Nuclear Safety Authority (SNRCU) in its activities on licensing related assessments of EU financed improvement measures in Zaporozhye NPP.
UK/TS/29 was a technical support project in which the nuclear safety authority of Ukraine (SNRCU) was supported in reviewing safety documentation, mainly related to Khmelnitsky 2 and Rovno 4 (K2R4).
The primary objective of this project was to strengthen and support the national nuclear safety regulatory system in Ukraine by promoting the integration of European Union (EU) regulatory practice. The project was considered successful in this respect.

UK/TS/32 was a technical support project including 2+2 tasks, for support to the nuclear safety regulator of Ukraine (SNRCU). It included 11 technical tasks mainly related to remaining modernisation steps of Khmelnitsky 2 and Rovno 4 (K2R4).
