Background ANRA and NRSC developed emergency procedures to be used in case of nuclear and radiation emergencies for assessing the technological conditions and radiation situation, as well as to provide prognosis on the progression of the emergency.
Project summary will be published after the completion of the project.
The purposes of the project are:
• to develop regulations for uranium mines and milling operations that are in accord with best international standards and practice
Project BE/RA/02 is a follow-up of project BE/RA/01 with almost the same objectives. The assistance in the field of emergency preparedness including planning and training was included as new objective. This project has 6 technical tasks.

The overall objective of this project is to strengthen and enhance the effectiveness of the nuclear safety regime in Armenia and to improve the organisation and performance of the Nuclear Regulatory Authority of Armenia (ANRA).
