The overall objective of the project was the enhancement and strengthening of a nuclear safety regulatory regime in Brazil in compliance with internationally used criteria and practices.
This project, part of the Instrument for Nuclear Safety Cooperation (INSC), has effectively enhanced the capabilities in China for the identification and treatment of people who may have been over-exposed to radiation in a radiological or nuclear emergency.
The purposes of this project are as follows:
