The project summary will be published after the completion of the project.
The specific objectives of this contract/project are the following:
- development of the Safety Assessment Reports (SARs) for both waste storage and disposal facilities described above;
- identification of any additional equipment and training needs;
- assessment of the potential impact of the possible disposal of DSRS and other radioactive waste at the “Saakadze” site.
