The primary objective of this project was to strengthen and support the national nuclear safety regulatory system in Ukraine by promoting the integration of European Union (EU) regulatory practice. The project was considered successful in this respect.
UK/TS/31 was a 2+2 project, for support to the nuclear safety regulator of Ukraine (SNRCU) in the assessment of EU financed safety improvements within industrial project U1.04/03 "Upgrading of electrical equipment of reactor control and protection system and neutron flux monitoring equipment on K
UK/TS/32 was a technical support project including 2+2 tasks, for support to the nuclear safety regulator of Ukraine (SNRCU). It included 11 technical tasks mainly related to remaining modernisation steps of Khmelnitsky 2 and Rovno 4 (K2R4).
This project was the follow-up of projects BE/RA/01 and BE/RA/02.
