"Support and assistance to strengthen the capabilities of the Belarusian Nuclear Regulatory Authority MES/Gosatomnadzor in the field of licensing and supervision of construction of the Belarusian NPP."

The purpose of this contract is as follows:
• To give regulatory support to Gosatomnadzor in the regulatory activities related to the submission of a license application for the planned NPP,
The European Union, together with its Chinese Partners, has successfully implemented a first joint project aimed at enhancing and strengthening the nuclear safety regulatory framework in China in accordance with highest standards and best international practice adopted in the EU.

This project consisted of the supply of the Lot 2 and Lot 3 of equipment specified in the project B3.01/04 (BE/RA/03), namely personal protection equipment and laboratory equipment respectively.
This project was the follow-up of projects BE/RA/01 and BE/RA/02.
Project BE/RA/02 is a follow-up of project BE/RA/01 with almost the same objectives. The assistance in the field of emergency preparedness including planning and training was included as new objective. This project has 6 technical tasks.
