This contract will be a continuation of contract INSC/2012/260-622 "Disposal concepts for radioactive waste in Ukraine" in which a deep disposal concept for Ukraine and recommendations for the long-term programme for the implementation were made.

The project objectives are the following:
- to strengthen SNRIU capabilities in licensing of new nuclear installations (except nuclear power plants);
The purpose of this project is to enhance the quality and coherence of decision making within ASEAN countries following a radiological or nuclear emergency. This will be achieved through the installation and use within emergency centres, at national and centralized levels, of ‘state of the art’
The project aims at supporting the development of the necessary regulation and of the Regulatory Authority staff capacity building in the field of nuclear and radiation safety, nuclear safeguards as well as radioactive waste management in Morocco.
The purpose of this contract is for the European Commission to acquire such assistance from the Contractor as may be required to:
(1) provide the technical expertise for the definition and development of cooperation projects to be funded under the INSC;
A mobile laboratory for radiation safety monitoring, fully in compliance with EU and Belarus guidelines, will be delivered to Belarus, including equipment related training.
The overall objective of the project is to strengthen the technical capabilities of the Turkish Atomic Energy Authority (TAEK) in bringing it broadly in accord with best international and European practice.
